Introduction
At the 3GSM conference 2005, Sonyericsson added another product to its line of UMTS
/ 3G cellphones i.e. z800. At first its only availalbe to vodafone, but in second quarter it will be available for retail
by name of Sonyericsson v800.

External Features
Sonyericsson z800 has a nice clamshell look with a rotating camera at the top middle.
The camera is also called motion eye. The internal screen is 176 x 220
pixels 262k while the external is 101 x 80 pixels 65k. Now most of the compaines are switching from 65k
(16bit) to 262k (18 bit) color screens. Its dimensions 102 x 49 x 24 mm and weight 128g are somewhat big but
can be acceptable for a UMTS phone.

Other Features
Sonyericsson z800 operates on dual mode i.e UMTS and GSM/GPRS. It is designed such that to take full advantage of the UMTS by adding features such as video conferencing, video streaming and downloading.
Sonyericsson z800 comes up with all famous features required and present these days. The most important is the 1.3 megapixel camera that is able to rotate around. A flash or light like thing is also built-in with the motion eye. An mp3 player is also present as this feature is growing up these days and becoming necessary. Furthermore, all this is becoming useful because of expandable memory slot i.e memory stick pro duo; which is able to detect upto
1Gb card. A 64Mb card is also included in the package.

Conclusion
With the proper growth of UMTS / 3G Networks, every company has to show its interest in that side. That is why sonyericsson announced z800 alongwith other cellphones at 3GSM. In simple words, Sonyericsson z800 is the UMTS cellphone with everything latest in it.
But, since the terms "smallest 3G phone" are coined so much in the
market and Sonyericsson z800 doesnt fits under this term, it could
have a hard time or short span in the market. The initial price is
